Christmas Story Clips

It’s less than a week until Christmas and I’m in the festive spirit so I thought it would be a good time to share a few videos of Christmas stories. All of these tales can be found in book form for you to share with your little ones.

Firstly because I come from the southern hemisphere where it’s hot.

Now for something a little more traditional.

There Once Was A Boy Called Tashi

By: Barbara and Anna Fienberg

Illustrated by: Kim Gamble

Tashi has a way with witches and warlords, can guess ghost’s secrets, and learns from those around him. In all of this he never dreamed of an ogre like Gloomin. When Gloomin trudges into the village bringing a big pool of darkness with him, the Magic Warning Bell sounds and all the villagers hurry to their homes. They can’t stay there though and Tashi knows something needs to be done, so bravely he sets out to fix what has gone wrong.

A gorgeous folk tale accompanied by beautifully detailed

illustrations. This Tashi book is formatted as a picture book with plenty of text and would be ideal as an introduction to the Tashi storybooks. It would probably suit ages 3+ better than younger readers.
