Holy crap even this damn trailer made me cry. I am soooooooo looking forward to this film.

Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort look like they’ve done an amazing job with a couple of the most amazing characters I’ve ever read.

So with talk surrounding another well looked forward to YA fave being not so hot, it kind of fills me with trepidation about the fact they are bringing this awesome book to the screen. I really, really hope they don’t stuff it. But on the bright side – look at this

The Fault in Our Stars – Casting News

Well here we go, this could be really awesome news. The amazing book by John Green The Fault In Our Stars is to be made into a film.

Here is the casting news as I know it as of the moment.

Seriously though if you have not read this book do yourself a favour and find a copy, it is wonderful. It made me laugh and it made me cry even when I was on the train.

TFiOS – Movie News

So I did what I do occasionally and I spent some time watching vlogbrothers clips

And I found one dealing with The Fault in Our Stars and the fact it maybe become a movie sometimes soon.

For some reason it won’t let me embed the right clip but go here

John Green says he is ‘Cautiously optimistic’, we shall wait and see. Until then if you haven’t checked out the book, what are you doing sitting here reading this… get thee to a bookshop (brick and mortar or electronic) and do yourself a favour, get a copy of The Fault in Our Stars.

Faves of 2012

Okay it is that time of the year again where anyone and everyone puts together lists of their top picks of the past year. I am going to be no different, I will, however, not be doing a top 10. What I have put here are the ones that really stood out, but truthfully I had many wonderful reading experiences this year just about gone, and I did limit this list to those books published in 2012.

John Green & Hank Green – Just Because

Some days you just need to find something that causes you to think, or just makes you laugh. At various times this man has made me do both, sometimes at the same time.
