Mr Walnut owns the biggest pet shop in town but Mina feels sorry for the pets in there as the cages are so small and their faces are so sad. When her bunny goes missing she is sure Mr Walnut has her, so she sets out to find her pet and rescue her. The bunny isn’t the only one of the animals that Mina rescues though and what happens next changes everything, including mean old Mr Walnut.
A very entertaining story about fighting for your friends (or pets), and how even a very small person can bring about a big change. The illustrations are quite detailed and interesting and the story itself is fun and sweet. An enjoyable book to share.
