Lighty Faust the Lion is one of Ru’s favourite friends. They have so much fun together, including doing things like flying to the moon. Lighty Faust even goes to school with Ru. Then the day comes when Ru must say good bye to Lighty Faust.
This is a story that is about having an imaginary friend. It is silly fun and embraces the wildness and scope of a child’s imagination, in the process it touches on the idea of growing up. The illustrations are distinct and very simple, mostly in dark tones yet they somehow convey the playfulness of the experience.
