Wilson is a little wolf who never brushes his hair or washes his face or paws (even after eating). He won’t even change his underwear (ooohhh yuck!). Wilson is a very smelly little wolf but instead of washing like he is asked, he runs away from home. Will his friend Dotty be able to get him to change his ways and learn that there is good dirt and bad dirt and fungus between the toes is neither.
A very silly book about smells, dirt and getting clean. Dotty is sensible yet fun, a no nonsense counterpoint to Wilson’s determined grubbiness. The illustrations have a grimy yet entertaining feel about them and are a playful match to the rhyming text.
