Rachel Caine, author of the Morganville Vampire books is on tour at the moment and she dropped into the store I work at today, much to my surprise. It was a lovely way to break up my day. What was even nicer was just how genuine she seemed. She was friendly, open and generous with her time, she signed everything I put in front of her. When she left she remembered some of what we talked about and when someone is pleasant like that and listens to what you say, you can’t help but like them.
So cudos to you Rachel Caine for being so approachable and leaving such a positive impression.
