Ook and Gluk are happy residents of Caveland Ohio, or at least they were until it came under attack from Goopernopper Enterprises. The world’s most evil corporation from the future has invaded the past to take its resources. Ook, Gluk and their little dinosaur pet, Lily, find themselves in big trouble. Taken through the mysterious portal to 2222 they find it is up to them to figure out how to save the day. Luck for them they find a wise new friend.
This is the second graphic novel from the creators of Captain Underpants and it is easy to see why it is so popular. It looks like a book but reads like a comic, complete with mini-fliporamas. yes the spelling isn’t correct and the pictures can be a bit gross but it is very funny and not just for kids. One line had me walking around singing a particular song long after I finished the book. A guilty fun, pleasure to read.
